Michele Iallonardi
Michele Iallonardi is the Executive Director of the Nassau/Suffolk Chapter of the Autism Society of America. Prior to her appointment this year, she served as the chapter’s Assistant Director and Event Coordinator. Michele has been part of the NSASA team for over 17 years. She holds a master’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education, and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. Michele has worked as a special education teacher, a college professor, a general education teacher, and an editor/publisher of a local online parenting website. She is a proactive community leader who has been recognized for her advocacy in national publications, including magazines, documentaries, and television appearances. In addition to her professional work, Michele and her husband Ralph have three sons, Jackson, Bennett, and Luca, who are on the autism spectrum.
